The 'other' kind of magnifying make up spectacle on the market is much more practical (the two lens type, where each lens is lowered separately). They felt cheap. I can imagine the screw in the centre of the frame, on which the single lens pivots will come loose eventually. <br/>Very large and bulky with a bad build quality.

My question is why these glasses are so heavy... we need all the help we can get when applying make up around the eyes. I find mine fall forward or tilt because of the bulk. I don't want to send them back, but I certainly wish they were lighter! Susan
