This is the first of the guitar hero series that i have played and it is great. I cant put it down. I had read various reviews on many sites about the wireless controller and about how the battery life is terrible. Not true!!! I have put rechargeable batteries in mine and they have lasted several hours so far. What make the game for me is not so much the songs but the wireless controller. If you havent already bought a guitar hero package then buy this one. You will not regret it.

Unfortunately, the changes made to co-op don't work quite so well. You can no longer play though the career mode in singleplayer, and then play any of the songs again in co-op mode. You have to first unlock all of the songs again, and to further complicate the matter, the lowest difficulty determines which you have unlocked. For example, you and a friend play through co-op career with both of you playing on Expert, unlocking all the songs. If someone else comes along, and wants to play a bit...

Includes Les Paul Guitar Hero Controller. Rock This Way: The arcade-inspired battle mode adds a new dimension to the Guitar Hero franchise. The idea isn`t necessarily to hit the most notes, but rather hit the right ones and learn the nuances of using the power-up attacks. An Authentic Look and Feel: Improving the graphics from the ground up have created a more intense visual element giving guitar heroes the sense of performing on their own rock stage. You`ve Got to Beat the Best, To Be the Best...

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock's boss battles give Guitar Hero fans a chance to compete against legendary guitarists such as Slash and Tom Morello. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock players are required to deplete the boss' Rock Meter before the boss goes into their Death Drain solo, which always means 'lights-out.' After defeating a boss, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock players unlock that guitarist as a playable character and continue to the encore for the set list, which is a master recording...

Do you like rock music? Do you like video games? Do you like rock music and video games? Chances are if you say yes to at least one of those questions, you're familiar with Guitar Hero, publisher Activision's genius marriage of axe-shaped controller and rock and roll music. If the likes of SingStar is a little too twee for you (or you're just tone deaf when it comes to singing) strap on thine axe and start shredding. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock doesn't complicate things with more coloured buttons...

Better than the GH3+Les Paul Wireless Guitar pack, because:- 1. It's cheaper (always a good one 2. I've owned a GH2 wired X-Plorer guitar (the one in this pack) since GH2 was released on the 360 and it has NEVER failed on me! When I originally brought GH3+Wireless Les Paul when it came out, my guitar lasted 6 weeks before dying. I got a replacemnet but even the new one only lasted 2 months!
