Appears to be of high quality with decent chrome plating too. Robust looking design for mounted toms and floor toms for larger type rods of 1/2\\" diameter. However, I only bought one because my original one broke! One of the heads on the two mounting screws that hold it to the vibro band had sheered off. As it was only months old, I can only assume (& hope) it was a faulty screw that just couldn\\'t cope with the weight of a 14\\"x10\\" tom? No similar faults with the new one supplied by Dolphin Music...

The proximity of the area's favourite mountain, Stac Polly ( the base car park is only five minutes along the road) probably ensures that much less traffic finds its way up Coigach - EVERYBODY wants to do Stac Polly! That is a great shame, as many of the characteristics of Coigach are both appealing and challenging. One thing IS for sure; from any angle, it is a superb mountain to photograph.
