A quality blend that is often the connoisser's first choice whisky, and a great way to show the novice that blended whisky isn't necessarily inferior to single malt - just different. If that's all a bit too much hyperbole then just think of this as a great value, dependable, everyday drinking bottle of Scotch.. Tasting Notes : Superbly textured with malty biscuity notes and a smooth honeyed finish. Producer : Teacher's Country Scotland Percentage Alcohol 40 Stock In Stock

A delightful dram indeed, with some berry fruit flavours with Granny Smith apples and nectarines, and an earthiness and subtle smokiness on the nose. The palate is sweet with hints of cedar wood and again another hint of mellow smokiness carried over from the nose.

The nose is quite light and smooth. There are notes of mixed peels and cereals, a little caramel sweetness and a touch of dryness. The palate is of medium-body and reasonably well-balanced. There is caramel sweetness, a touch of oak and a wisp of smoke, a little nut note develops. The finish is of medium-length with developing oaked dryness.
