This is another classic fantasy film, and like Labyrinth is produced by The Jim Henson Creature Workshop, but unlike Labyrinth it has no human leads, nor indeed any recognisable animals or environments at all, everything you see throughout the movie has been created for this world, the creatures, animals and objects, even the culture, it's sort of conceptual art combined with commercial entertainment, and for the most part this works really well!
