I found the 2008 Les Hauts Lieux sauvignon unpleasant. My first glass was very disappointing, the wine was thin and had a strangely bitter aftertaste. The wine improved slightly when eaten with food, in this case, fish, as the bitter aftertaste became less noticeable. Please try this wine yourself, Virgin, in case the 2008 is actually a damp squib. Thanks.
