We've seen Lolas in many forms form Bizarre over the past couple of years and this latest offering is a low drag, Cosworth DFV powered machine. The car only lasted four hour sin the race but as it was quite pretty and French entered, there are a few photos in the Le Mans books. From these the model looks pretty good and certainly makes for an attractive piece in the cabinet;.

Lola T296 model
The Lola at Le Mans story (good name for a book that) continues with this smart red Swiss entry from the 1979 race. As with so many of these smaller prototypes, it didn't make it to the end. The model is generally well finished with fine red paint and neatly applied decals. The bracing for the rear wing is photo-etched, though a few of the other details are, as usual, a little heavy.
