the existing alarm had become faulty .. kept beeping , so i assumed the capacitor wasn't charging..As it was over 10 years old i wasn't sure if i could find the same model ...but this wa sit !! Fitted it easily , and it beeped for a couple of hours as the capacitor charged... after which it stopped.. Never any problem with these alarms ( i have 1 in hall and 1 in landing ) . they have gone off when i burned some toast , so are quite sensitive. Good quick service and good price.. a good buy
