New for 2010 is the inclusion of Pioneer Apps. These new Apps allow for applications such as Clocks and Photo View Applications can unlock functionality in the AVIC-F220. Once downloaded and transferred to the unit via SD card, these applications can be used as alternative screensavers to the map view. They give access to different clock views and allow slideshows of personal photos complete with transition effects. Additionally, users can still add POI 's via SD card.
