This was my first pair of Vans, have worn Converse before. I feel that they are perhaps slightly thicker soled than Converse. For me this translates to a more comfortable walk (the heel feels more cushioned).. For sizing info, I bought UK size 10 (equates to US 11 according to the Vans chart), I'm a 9.5 and these feel snug. If you are a full size 10, I'd go up a size. To summarise, great price for a great, light casual shoe with a little bit more support that Converse. Well done thehut!
