Other possibilities: the two Uni museums on Downing Street. The 'Dinosaur' one and the 'Big Whale' one (as we call them) are both brill, and free. Many happy trips there with 2 year old niece, and they're very child friendly too. Also, parks are plentiful and free in Cambridge too. If weather's nice and hot, there's the one off Coleridge Road with water to paddle in as well as swings etc, or the Christ's Pieces one is quite nice and well maintained.

I have been using these cards to teach yoga daily to my special needs class. The children love the animal postures and the variety within each section. I teach a selection of new ones each week so the children don't get bored. They find this very motivating and it's certainly helping the dyspraxic ones with their balance and stability. The cards are so easy to use that anyone can follow the child-friendly instructions.
