The name of this wine comes from the fact that the Torelli family planted a row of almond trees all around the vineyard. Bricco means hilltop, and this wine comes from a vineyard located on a very steep slope with a wonderful view to the village of Bubbio.

Rouvé is made from the grapes of a small, single vineyard dating back to 1967. The grapes are hand selected and given a total steeping period of 21 days, giving extra concentration to this very special wine. The wine is aged in European oak for at least 17 months.

The top wine from this five hectare estate in Asti, this wonderful Barbera has undergone nine months in small French oak barrels, giving a full bodied, supple wine with a lightly spiced nose and a hint of dark chocolate. On the palate there are mature red fruits, backed by notes of vanilla and toasty oak. Beautifully soft with fine-grained tannins.
