Was expecting this to be a bit rough around the edges with alot of burn.. but it just isn't. It's a smooth, easy-sipping spirit that's dry and bitter with a taste of spicy stewed apples and a lemony aftertase. Refrshingly different. Will buy again.

Bulleit Bourbon is distilled and aged in small batches and stored in a single-story warehouse which reduces inconsistencies in the maturation process. Bulleit Bourbon is light and has aromas of toasted marshmallows along with pine nuts and vanilla. On the palate the faintest dry oak start vanishes within seconds to be followed by a taste of sweet chestnut and a busy complexity of malted barley and spice. The finish is mildly oily with soft honeycomb and chocolatey notes which gives a chewy, bitter sweet end to this well-balanced and satisfying bourbon.
