Description of this Saint-Emilion Château Figeac's second wine was first produced in 1945, and was one of the first of its type. The wine takes its name from an attractive 16th century building on the estate and is mainly made from the youngest grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot vines. The property was once 200 hectares in size, but a series of sales and subdivisions substatially reduced its size and its standing.
