Chateau DeyremValentin Margaux
An elegant Cru Bourgeois made by 4th generation producer Jean Sorge from 30 year old vines in Soussans. The wine is 50% Merlot, 48% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% each of Petit Verdot and Carmenère, aged in one third new French oak. Beautifully balanced, with red berry, leather and cedar aromas, complex blackcurrant and blackberry flavours, subtle oak and great length.

The 2000 vintage is a wine with a remarkable potential for development. This deep-coloured wine exudes the classic Margaux finesse. Dense, well-structured and toasty, the slight rusticity may well be the result of the percentage of Malbec present in the blending. Not to be overlooked.

Description of this Margaux Château DeyremValentin has become one of our favourites... No wonder! This is the case again with the 2002 vintage: the wine is superb, a lot of red fruits, tannins are present but very supple, a long finish... a 'not to do without' of every wine connoisseur cellar. Pletniful fruit and supple tannins, but it will age well. It also has an impressive length in the mouth...a very lovely wine, which is not to be missed.
