These are great in the idea, but I found that trying to get my dog to use it a nightmare! Unless I smeared food in the grooves she wouldn't give it the time of day. Once the food was in she chewed it, presumeably releiveing her need to chew during teethin, but trying to get any food remains from within the grooves is enough to drive you insane!! If you have a natural chewer then it probably works better, as neither of mine have been a problem for chewing anything! I found she prefered to chew ropes...
