The filters in this range can be used either in front of or behind the lens, and reduce the transmission of light at specific wavelengths. Their primary use is to colour balance films; however, the effect of each filter must be determined by tests or specified by the film manufacturer. They are also useful for correcting light sources for which no standard conversion filter exists, or for introducing a deliberate colour bias.

Resin filters are made from lightweight, optically superior polymeric materials which makes them tough, easy to handle and clean. Each resin filter is hand made by LEE technicians and then passed though rigorous quality control to ensure 100% accuracy. Resin filters are generally available in Grad type (half colour, half clear) or standard type (all colour).

Warm up filters can be used for technical purposes, colour temperature correction from daylight to tungsten light sources for example, or for effect in landscape photography.A warm up filter can work wonders for an image, boosting colours or just adding a pleasing warmth that may not be present naturally. The trick is not to overdo it, and a little warmth is often all that is needed to make the difference. Generally available in both graduated and standard types.
