Once you’ve tamed the Segway X2 in our first two arenas and proved you’ve mastered the art of control and movement, we’ll crank up the speed and set about some healthy group competition on our point-to-point, against the clock, flat field race. Each rider will use the speed of the Segway and their riding ability to negotiate their way around a numbered course consisting of posts and directional arrows. In true rally style, time is off the essence... quickest contender wins, simple.

Of course, the team is on hand to guide you on your Segway trek around Tatton Park and the experience includes a safety briefing and training session on the machines (so no need to worry if you're never been on a Segway before). Once you're at ease with the Segway controls, you'll head off on a trek that lasts around an hour around the Tatton Park trails.

Grafham has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest, so makes for a lovely setting for a spot of Segway riding. The lake is used by boats, fisher folk and windsurfers alike and as you ride round on your Segway you'll see there are birdwatching hides as head along paths that duck in and out of the shrub and woodland round the lake.
