Germany 1936 Berlin Olympic Games perf m/sheet #2, stamps unmounted although hinge remnantsin margins and slight signs of ageing, SG MS 6132

x 1912 (19 Aug.) envelope registered from Gadzema to Douglas, Isle of Man, bearing Long Gash 4d. brown-purple and orange (S.G. 139) and 1909-12 1d. red, both neatly cancelled with double-ring datestamp and with registration label at left, the reverse with despatch, Bulawayo (12.8), London (2.9) and Liverpool (2.9) datestamps; the envelope with a central vertical crease and the 1d. with some foxing, nevertheless an attractive franking from this office to a most unusual destination. Card a280:- A small notelet card made using Our Daily Bread 'Butterfly Branch' Die and 'Faith' Stamp set, with Nestabilities Classic Oval Dies. This card was made by taking an A3 sheet of card and scoring & flding at 5 7/8, 5 1/2 and 2 1/2 inches. The height of this card is 2 7/8. I used my Clear Oyster Plate, with my Grand Calibur, to choose where to cut the die; ensuring that there was enough card, approximately 1/4 inch, left for the hinge.
