This is framed in an Octagonal Hand-carved millepoint frame. It is in excellent condition, with original ‘c’ clasp at the back, and measures 2 ¼ inches by 1 ¾ inches. The size of these inlaid brooches is dictated by the size of the ammonite (large ammonites with clear and beautiful chambers are not always found when I need them).
