I recently bought the Nixon Player watch and couldn’t be happier with it. It’s a minimalist design yet has all the elegance of a much more expensive watch. I bought this item as a 21st Birthday present for my boyfriend. I had not heard of the make Nixon before my boyfriend mentioned that he liked the new rubber player watches. When looking at the item online I was unsure of what the quality of the item would be because of the description being rubber, so I bought the item with the option of returning it in mind. Really nice watch if you're looking for something a little quirky and fairly chunky. Traditional link style strap updated with modern twist using injetion moulded rubber. Feels really sturdy and not something that will perish or wear as you may think with rubber. The colour is mid-dark grey, probably not quite as dark as it appears in the photos, but looks really good and a bit different to most of the watches you see out there. Love the product, beautiful watch - I have a Player and another Nixon myself and decided to buy my wife one for her birthday. Arrived quickly, well packaged and good price. Only issue was we had to pay £8 at a jewellers to another link taken out as, despite following the instructions to the letter, the strap was still too loose.

It came in a beautiful but a rather oversized box that had a lot of empty space inside but the watch was carefully packaged and safe inside. I was dissapointed however that when I opened the box to check the watch was in one piece and undamaged there was what looked like small scratches across the glass face. I managed to scrape these off it must have been some kind of glue residue.

I bought this watch for my husband as he is heavily into his Nixons. The picture on the website look great so after looking at the various colours that the player came in decided to go for he black on pink one. Once it was delivered I was not disappointed in the feel and look of the watch. My husband loves it and says it is one of the most comfortable watches he's ever worn. Very very happy. Only two criticisms, I really wanted to get the back engraved but there is a massive Nixon logo already engraved...
