General comments: I bought this a few years ago and its been a good piece of kit. The LED option is particularly impressive, and especially useful for around the camp or in the tent when you need a more ambient rather than concentrated light. With sparing use I managed three months on the A.T without changing the batteries. To be honest I rarely use the conventional bulb option but its nice to have it for when you need to walk in the dark.
