Cellar Notes: The Chinaco house style is characterised by heavy, earthy agave aromas and flavours with solid fruit and floral hints. The tequilas are dry, not sweet, with a rich, full-bodied texture. The Añejo has a velvety, oily character. The oak aging regimen contributes caramel and vanilla accents, but doesn’t overpower the bold agave. These bold, full-flavoured tequilas are not designed for the timid.

Golden Tequila Anejo has a pale amber tint with a deep vanilla and pickling spice nose. A round, bouyant entry leads to an off-dry, medium body with sweet toffee, brown spice, salt, leather, tobacco and green pepper flavours. It finishes gracefully with a fruity, agave-driven fade. Review : I first tried this (reluctantly) while visiting family in Texas. The Tequila's I had tried in the UK I thought were awful, but after this I was educated. Lovely peppery clean smooth taste. Good as a sipper, no need to "slam it" or mixed with orange juice, as a Tequila sunrise. Great in Margaritas too!
