However, plans for the restoration are in place and we now need a final effort so that we can once again hear the magnificent sound of the Cathedral organ. To help on this last lap of the Appeal we are inviting individuals, families and companies to sponsor an organ pipe. The restored organ will have around 4,000 pipes ranging in size from 1/8inch to 32 feet. They come in various sizes and are made from both metal and wood.
