I loooove this. I´ve been using it for a week now and already I see the difference in my skin. It clears up and leaves my skin all smooth and healthy-looking. My skin is really changing to the better and it´s all up to all my great products from Dermalogica.
I have tried a lot of different moisturisers for my dry skin - it flakes on my forehead and even on my cheeks (?!) but I am really happy with this moisturiser. I use it in the summer no problem but I add a serum or oil to it in winter to cope. I've used it for 4 years now and wouldn't change.

Now in my late 40s, I'm finding some fine lines are appearing and this product is one of very few that seem to actually work to reduce them (unlike a lot of potions endorsed by celebrities on the tv!). It's not magic and it won't turn your skin back to your 20s, but it does help - and a little goes a long way.
I bought this product because it sounded like the perfect blend of sun protection and moisturiser, the tint was a bonus. The texture of this product is very much like a sunscreen (I find) so I don't like wearing it everyday. The tint is also very light, I didn't over me much coverage at all. That being said, it was one of the only products I recently packed when I went to Portugal and it was perfect at protecting my skin while I was in the sun all day!

One of the things I want from a hydrating masque is being able to use it as a night cream, as I'm awfully lazy. This gel-masque is not suitible for that. It is wonderful as an eye-masque, and as an after-sun. Well, it is not a favorite product, as it isn't as hydrating as I'd like it to be, my skin is very dry, it does not work at all on me. If you have normal skin though I reckon its as good as any other masque.

Yes I agree with other reviewers you must close your eyes then gently wipe the eyelids with dampened cotton wool to remove from eye lids before opening the eyes. Then seal in immediately with chosen moisturiser and your skin will thank you for it. A very soothing/calming treat for skin and yes will moisturise in its own right but would then get oil on your clothes by means of unwitting transfer so I'd always seal with barrier repair or the serum if wearing anything bar lazy/gym clothes
I've been using this product for some years now and find it's really perfect for combination skin, nourishing enough for the dry areas but not too much on the oilier central panel. I use this product weekly and find it great. Since the winter has started and heat being on in the office and house, I find that this really helps my skin and gives my skin the extra boost it needs at this time of year. I sometimes leave it on overnight.
The only Dermalogica product I tried that did not work well for me. It did not feel right on my skin. At the time I had acne, so my skin was extremely agitated. The oil control lotion was too strong, and made my skin feel dry. Maybe it was a case of the wrong product at the wrong time.

This is such an ingenious product! I love being able to decide my self wich products I want sunscreen in and which I dont! And it works brilliantly on it's own. It a very nice sunscreen, not the least bit greasy-feeling. I highly recomend this to everyone with skin!
Ok, so this is a good product that does the job very well, but it does not have that "extra" thing to it. It is a very basic product, that does what it promises. It seems to be longlasting. It has not irritated my eyes and it works with contacts as it claims. It works best if you do as it says on the package, and doesn't try to make your own way of using it;) I'll probably repurchase, because I love Dermalogica, but if you don't, I think there might me even better products out there.

I have used Dermalogica products for around 6 years and always swore by Active Moist. However, my skin has become drier over the last years (I have gone from teens to twenties) and so I tried Skin Smoothing Cream instead. I absolutely love it! This is my ultimate desert island product. It's a two in one, for use on lips and eyes. All I can say is, I'm using it for about 3 years now, and while my pals are all beginning to get those aging lines around the lips, I'm not. It's either good genes, or a great product.
