Rosabeth' is an exquisite new variety of Lachenalia, similar to Lachenalia quadricolor, but selected for superior form, vigor and habit. The exterior petals are a pinkish red, and the interior petals are a vivid green - overall effect: Tres Exotique! The Lachenalia are known by their common name of 'African Cowslip', and are related to the familiar Hyacinth, but nowhere near as frost-hardy. Hardy Dragon Arum. Growing to 1 metre in height or more, these have maroon spathes and a near-black spadix. These use a carrion smell to attract pollinating insects, however this only lasts for a day, and the flowers last much longer. White Lion' has beautiful fully double flowers of pure white and Vanilla-cream, with a sweet fragrance. These are tall-flowering, and appear later than many of the other Narcissus varieties, but are well worth the wait. Rarely seen, this variety should be better known than it is. A truly eye-catching variety, with medium height and mid-Spring flowering. This is a beautiful pink-trumpet Narcissus with a fully-double, frilled Trumpet set against otherwise single white petals. 'Petit-Four' is a seriously good flower, and is particularly good as a cut flower. The stems grow to a medium height and the flowers are well-balanced, so they don't tend to flop over. Thalia' is one of the finest all-white Dwarf Narcissi available, if not THE finest. A 'Triandrus' type, these have slightly nodding flowers with a proportionately large cup, though the flowers in their entirety are small, and produced in great abundance like a frothy white cloud. Even a small clump of these is delightful - and good in containers, not least as they love good drainage. These flower a little later than some of the Narcissi we offer, but at a similar time to 'Hawera' and Muscari 'Saffier...
