I love these shoes. I was excited when I saw there was finally a minimalist running shoe for trails with a good tread. I use most of my trail runners for winter running and in the past I've pretty much had to use hiking boots. Not this year! I've taken them out for a spin in the snow already and I have had great grip! The barefoot feel is great and having something this light to run with in the snow is great.

I have several pairs of VIVOBAREFOOT shoes and this style is definitely my favorite. Really does what it claims as I’ve found it to be a very effective trail running and hiking shoe even through sticky or slick mudd, loose gravel and just generally uneven terrain. The amount of ground feel is surprising with the relatively thick lugs and the shoe definitely has a lot of flex. The ladies 37 fit true to size and there was no break-in period.

These are way more stylish than Crocs! I bought my first pair in July in bright red and loved them – but they are just a bit much in the fall and winter. I then went back and was so happy to see they have just a nice black pair with a small bit of white. This I can get away with in the office and also in the winter months where red I can save for spring. The sole is super thin and bit more squishy than some of my other VB shoes.
