Just purchased this sound card and installed it a few minutes ago before writing this, and what can i say, is excellent sound quality that is being produced, it certainly beats the motherboard sound card. I had to purchase this after my 7.1 hd surround sound mother board sound card died for unknown reasons, and i have to say its much better, i must point out though that it is infact a pci slot it requires, i say this was it was not written anywhere on the page, however i thought it was anyway but...
