Hand finished in old gold and verdigris and made from fibreglass and resin, these stunning vases are suitable for both indoors or out. Measures 68cm high, diameter 45cm (26cm at base). At the moment it looks great in the winter border. It would be even better with the matching plinth! Approx 4 weeks for delivery. Condition is very good with no chips or restoration. One thing to note is that there is a non-penetrating hairline to the inside of the lip in the tin glaze which probably happened on the final firing. This hairline does not penetrate to the outside and is stable, and is not unusual in these very big pieces as the ceramic is quite thin at the lip which causes the gloss glaze to crack when cooling in the kiln. The price reflects this flaw, though in no way affects how the vase displays. The usual...
