A fine silver and tortoiseshell-mounted "fleur-de-lys" violin bow by W.E.Hill & Sons. This is an early example, made by Frank Donald Napier, probably in 1926. It has Napier's mark on the head plate and the slide grooves extend all the way to the end of the stick - after 1927 they terminated a little before the end. It is in very fresh condition, and weighs 58g.
