Board Games

The board game dates back to when cavemen roamed the earth, a time when it was decided that fun could be had throwing pebbles over a sectioned (re: chequered) stone plaque. Delighted by the who-could-throw-the-most game, the cavemen made it a regular pastime, and each time wondered at the lucky winner who threw great numbers of pebbles.

Board games have journeyed a long way since then and, although the past few years have seen a decline in their popularity, they are far from extinct. As a matter of fact this ancient entertainment form is taking over the store-front right now. Yes, my game loving friends, board games have made their way back into mainstream culture, so most (online) stores are carrying them for public purchase. And by replicating all the artefacts from the Museum of Entertainment History, newer and better models are sprouting up each day--just look at all the available types of Monopoly !

So get a game and perform the ancient ritual of game night.
