If you have just started dating and it has only been a month or two that you have been seeing each other, you probably should think twice about giving gifts at Christmas. If you've been together at least three months, that usually means that there is some sort of exclusivity starting to happen between the two of you. By now it's probably clear that you are both quite serious about the relationship. Gifts at this stage should definitely show that you've put some thought into them. They should suit his style and personality too. Spend upwards of 32 EUR, but not more than 130 EUR.
There is no limit to how much you can spend or how extravagant the gift may be. It all depends on how close you are and what type of a commitment you have.
