Slumdog Millionare 

The soundtrack contains the score by composer A.R. Rahman and the M.I.A.  songs heard in the film.

Lost in Translation 

My Bloody Valentine  leader Kevin Shields  wrote several songs for the score of this film, and is featured on this soundtrack along with artists such as Air  and The Jesus and Mary Chain .

8 Mile 

The soundtrack captures Eminem  at possibly the height of his popularity, as well as featuring tracks from contemporaries like Jay Z  and 50 Cent, as well as legends like Nas  and Rakim.

Saturday Night Fever 

Almost doubling as a Bee Gees  greatest hits album; Staying Alive, Night Fever, More Than a Woman and How Deep is Your Love are all featured in this must have for disco fans.

O Brother Where Art Thou 

The rare case where the soundtrack was more successful than the film, O Brother Where Art Thou  did modest box office, but the collection of bluegrass standards that made up it's soundtrack became a smash hit.

Pulp Fiction 

Pulp Fiction has some of the most famous uses of pop music in film, and the soundtrack album has all the songs, plus snippets of dialogue from the movie.

The Virgin Suicides 

A mix of music written for the film by Air and many of the best easy listening hits of the 70s are collected on this soundtrack. Probably the only way you can listen to Styx  and 10cc  without feeling embarrassed.

The Graduate 

One of the most famous film soundtracks, featuring the Simon and Garfunkel  hits Mrs. Robinson, The Sound of Silence, and Scarborough Fair.
