Spring Style Guide

Ahhh... the winter is over, the ground has thawed (hopefully), and it's time to put away the scarves and mittens.  With all of this joy comes the stress of spring style.  It's an in-between time, where it's not quite warm enough for the summer's hot looks, yet it's not chilly enough for the styles of winter.  We are here to help you incorporate the latest spring trends into your wardrobe to keep you shining.

Spring Trends for Women

Looks We Love

Playful Prints

Look for loud patterns with flowers  and artsy graphics .  Shots of colour are huge this season and the bolder you are, the better.

Miniature Ruffles

This cute girlish accent makes its way onto skirts ,tops , and jackets .  Too much for you?  Try a ruffled hem or small detail.

Citrus

Bright pinks, tangerines, and mellow yellows are the in colours to look for.  Get them in everything from trousers  to tunics .

Goddess Wear

Not quite a toga, draped dresses  were huge on the runways, as were draping details  and loose fitting fabrics.

Greys

Yes, grey for spring.  Many designers have chosen to present grey dresses  or tops  with a pop of a shocking colour, like hot pink trousers  or orange accessories .

Spring Trends for Men

Styles to Snag

Wide Stripes

Long vertical stripes make their mark on shirts  and trousers .  Bonus style points if they look like pyjamas .

Micro Patterned Jackets

Men's jackets  and blazers  are now taking on a new look in gingham patterns and bold micro prints.

White Stuff

Suddenly it's cool to be pale all over.  Wear white shirts  with white trousers  and white shoes  to make the look.

Gradient

Wear shirts  or jeans  that fade from light to dark, or vice versa.  Pair both together if you are feeling bold.

Eastern Influence

Taking inspiration from the far east,  look for silk  or a mandarin collar .  But keep it to one item of clothing at a time.

Spring Health and Beauty Trends

Must Haves

Strong Eyebrows

Get your eyebrow pencils  ready!  Big natural brows are back in style.

Heavy Smudged Eye Liner

Just like a smoky eye but using a smudger , this look is a little bit darker , a little bit more dramatic, and a little bit more intense.  Don't make it look like you were crying, though.

Red Lipstick

Who doesn't love a bright red pout?  Check out our guide on How to Wear Red Lipstick or you could end up looking more like a clown than a diva.

False Eyelashes

Soft dramatic eyes are easy when you have false eyelashes  to wear!

Brown Eye Shadow

Create a dark and smoky look using brown shadows .   This sexy trend with natural colours may be around for awhile.
