Game Boy Advance is a portable, hand-held Nintendo system that was released in 2001. Since then, it has been redesigned as the Game Boy Advance SP. The SP has several advantages over the original Game Boy Advance, and almost every benefit has carried over.
Game Boy Advance SP features a rechargeable lithium ion battery versus the original Advance's AA requirement. it has a clamshell design, which allows it to fold to about half the size of the original Game Boy Advance. It comes in the following colors:

Otherwise, the hardware and software specifications are the same as the original Game Boy Advance SP. In the end, there is no reason to buy the original Game Boy Advance over SP.
