History and Geography Games

History and geography can be fun if looked at from the correct angle. Unfortunately, more often than not that angle is untraceable, and we are left asking for directions from a map dated 1978 to a building that was demolished, in a language we don't understand. If there's a way to win at geography and history, that's the angle that makes it fun. Historically accurate, or nearly accurate games have had an upsurge with the explosion ofconsole gaming   and online console gaming WWII is one of the most popular eras at the moment, with the violence and the ability to blow up people from the internet. But for more solitary gaming, there are the historical games where the object is to find historical items or conquer the planet, depending on the game, which is usually for computer use. As for Geographical games, there are standard quizzing games as well as more trivia based geographical questions not to mention all of the loosely geographical games that allow you to learn geography while focusing on other tasks. It all depends on your interest and favourite form of gaming.
