MLB Baseball Guide

American baseball is an all-time classic.  The sport holds history,  memorabilia,  and fans  across the globe.

Major League Baseball  teams  are broken down into two separate divisions with different game rules:

• The National League  was established in 1876 and consists of 16 teams.
• The American League  was founded in 1901 and consists of 14 teams. 

These baseball leagues are further broken down into regional divisions: east, central, and west.  The divisions go on to play one another, ultimately resulting in the World Series, a game between a winning National League and American League team.
