Portable Drum Sets

Portable drum sets  are good for practising your skills or starting that rock band  you've always talked about. You can begin with a small drum set and add on more pieces as you gain experience.

Types

• Four-piece drum set : Mostly used with young children, a four-piece or beginner drum set  usually includes a bass drum,  a tom drum,  a cymbal,  and a snare. 
• Five-piece drum set : This includes all the pieces mentioned above in addition to a floor tom,  another cymbal, and two hi-hat cymbals. 
• Seven-piece drum set : This has 3 tom drums and 2 floor toms in addition to a bass drum, cymbals, and snare.

Drum Set Transport

When moving your drum set, make sure that you take the drum and cymbals off their stands before breaking them down. Once this has been done, make sure that the stands are folded so that the legs are not sticking out and they are easy to store. Drum cases  and cymbal cases  are important also for storing each item so that it will not get damaged during transport.
