Scarves Buying Guide

Ever the versatile accessory, scarves  can add class to a summer outfit or extra warmth to the winter bundle. Whether you're looking for a designer scarf or a knit scarf that'll keep you warm and toasty, we have all your neck accessory needs. Scarves have lots of travel uses: one basic colour can be used with any outfit, and can be packed into any knapsack or stashed in a purse.  They can be used with a simple outfit like a blouse  and jeans  to dress it up, or as a shawl  or pashmina  at night over dresses.  Scarves can be found in a variety of colours and styles and are made out of wool,  linen,  cashmere,  velvet,  rayon,  nylon,  jersey  and many other materials.

Women's Scarves

Women's scarves  can be worn in many different ways, which include several different ties around the neck, around the head, the waist, and just about anywhere you can think of! A few tips to remember:

• Match like materials together. If you are wearing a silk shirt, a wool scarf might be a bit overpowering for the outfit.
• Business outfits can be accented with scarves, but make sure that you are using a nicer model, like a silk scarf, that will go with a suit or business casual look.
• Add flair to your dresses by tying a scarf around your waist. 
• Make sure to follow washing instructions on the label when caring for your scarf. Some may need hand washing, so they might get stretched out or frayed in the machine.
• Always allow your scarf to air-dry on a flat service.

Men's Scarves

These require much the same care as women's. Typically, men's scarves  are seen in the winter, though it is becoming increasingly more fashionable for men to wear neutral coloured scarves with jeans  a tee shirt.  And, as always, sport scarves are a popular wintertime accessory for men.
