Tablet Computers Buying Guide
The computer has gone from the desktop

How is a tablet different from a normal laptop?
At its most basic, the tablet computer differs from laptops because the tablet has a touchscreen that eliminates the need for the oh so archaic mouse. Aside from that, there are the usual pros and cons of using the tablet versus the laptop:
- Writing on your computer takes your notetaking to a whole new level. Just imagine your collegues' or fellow students' stares as you write your notes and doodle ON YOUR COMPUTER!
- Tablets, as the new kids on the block, cost considerably more than most laptops.
- As cool as touchscreens can be to use, writing on a laptop is much faster than typing or handwriting notes.
- Although the screens are touch-sensitive, they are still built on the some kind of screen as regular laptops. Therefore, they are still prone to the normal scratches and scrapes--but with increased risk because, well, you're writing on the screen.
