Wedding Transportation Buying Guide

Who?

Think about who your transportation will serve.  Some brides like to arrive at their ceremony alone on horseback  while others may prefer to transport the entire wedding party in a stretch limo.   It is important to determine whether or not the transportation is going to be for the bride, for the couple, for the wedding party, for the guests to transport from ceremony to reception, or all of the above.  Once you have figured out how many people you plan to transport, it is much easier to choose what kind of transportation will do so. 

What?

Go totally crazy and fly in by helicopter  or stay traditional and look to a horse and carriage.   The choice is yours!  Remember your budget and try to incorporate your choice into the whole theme of your wedding.

When?

Decide when during the big day you are going to need your transportation.  Will you only need it for your arrival?  Will you need it only for a departure?  In between ceremonies?  If you don't need the rental all day, then you can look to rent for a few hours and save some money!  If you want to hang on to your special mode of transportation from start to finish, look to different rental agencies and compare prices.  

You may also want to think about renting a bus  or shuttle to take your wedding guests to the venue.  This makes it easier for everyone!  Your guests won't have to search for parking and there won't be any drunk drivers after the reception, as your shuttle can take them all back to the same hotel.
