| Working with tile and stone can be rewarding and will look amazing when you're finished, but if you only have a ceramic hand tool , it might take a while, not to mention the detriment to your hands (although a few callouses look cool). A tile saw, or wet saw , cuts tile and some stone without the hours of work required with a hand tool, not to mention the even, accurate, and professional look that comes from using one. It's an investment, but if you're creating a walkway, tiling the kitchen, doing the flooring for your verandah, redoing your loo, or any combination of situations, the pay off is being able to tile your own house with the look of a professionally done job. Of course, before buying and starting on your dining room, you may want to consider having an overview, or possibly a class, to learn how to properly use your tile saw. |
