Faux Fur  and thick wool  hats are ideal for extremely cold temperate regions. Wool  and fleece  knit hats suit moderately cold conditions while cotton  or synthetic  fabrics are ideal for just keeping the ears warm.  

Common Types of Winter Hats

  • Beanies : A beanie, which is otherwise called a skullie , is made from material sewn together and tasselled at crown. They are typically made out of wool  or synthetic knit .
