Time, what is time? Time is the very thing that dictates your day to day life. It cannot--contrary to popular belief--be travelled through, broken, baked, hatched, or manipulated. Although your scientific background may say differently, it seems that science fiction theory does not hold up like it used to. So that word tarde--the one your last boss liked to yell--is not the Spanish equivalent of TARDIS--the Doctor's fictional time travel machine; tarde means late. Don't let your cult-crazed mind interfere with punctuality any longer; you must come to terms with the final episode of the original series of Dr. Who --which, by the way, went off the air years ago. And although the original TARDIS dial resides in your safe deposit box --thanks to eBay--please do not let that be the reason you miss yet another interview. No matter how many times you try to pull it off, you will not be able to attend your interview and the Eastenders  première simultaneously--even with the magical dial.

For Pete's sake, buy a watch. 

General Guidelines

What is its purpose? Is it for a male  or a female?  Child  or adult? Is the watch just for telling time? Special features? Compass,  water resistance,  calendar,  calculator,  chronograph,  alarm,  glow in the dark feature,  radio,  MP3 player?  Analogue,  digital,  or both? What kind of face do you prefer? Can you even read an analogue face? (Be honest). Fancy vs. casual. For what occasions will you be wearing this watch? (Choose wisely: A watch that is too casual will not look right with dress wear and vice versa). What materials will you choose for your watch? (Consider comfort, style, colour, graphics, etc.) Do you want leather,  canvas,  silk,  rubber,  metal,  plastic?  Links  or no links?  Fitted or loose?

Everyday Wear  If you are going to get something to wear every day, you might want a versatile design that can be worn with both casual and dress clothes. These watches are usually simple, not too trendy, but not too hideous.	Dress Watches  Watches to be worn for special occasions. Warning: They will look stupid with casual wear. Would you wear a tiara  to football practice?  Then don't wear your diamond watch  either.	Sports Watches  Fun functions include: stopwatch, timer, glow in the dark and waterproof features, compass.	Pocket Watches  Who would not want a pocket watch?
